Happy Little Boy Doll
This Little Doll is the perfect size for hugging and carrying around with you wherever you go.
Supplies:
5.50 mm crochet hook
Cornmeal Red Heart Super Saver Yarn
Red Lion Brand FUN Yarn
Blue Lion Brand FUN Yarn
Brown Lion Brand FUN Yarn
Black Red Heart Super Saver Yarn

Head & Body:
Rnd 1: with Cornmeal, ch2; 6sc in second ch from hook - 6sts
Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around - 12sts
Rnd 3: 2sc in first st, 1sc in next st; repeat to end - 18sts
Rnd 4: 2sc in first st, 1sc in next 2sts; repeat to end - 24sts
Rnds 5-8: 1sc in each st around - 24sts
Rnd 9: sc2tog, 1sc in next 2sts; repeat to end - 18sts
Rnd 10: sc2tog, 1sc in next st; repeat to end - 12sts
Fasten off Cornmeal; change to Red.
Rnd 11: 1sc in each st around - 12sts
Rnd 12: 2sc in first st, 1sc in next st; repeat to end - 18sts
Rnd 13: 1sc in each st around - 18sts
Rnd 14: 2sc in first st, 1sc in next 2sts; repeat to end - 24sts
Rnd 15: 1sc in each st around - 24sts

Fasten off Red; change to Blue.

Begin firmly stuffing the Body.

Fasten off; leave a long tail for sewing.
Finish firmly stuffing the Body.
Using the tail of yarn, sew the opening closed.
Hair:
Rnd 1: with Brown, ch 2; 6sc in second ch from hook - 6sts
Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around - 12sts
Rnd 3: 2sc in first st, 1sc in next st; repeat to end - 18sts
Rnd 4: 2sc in first st, 1sc in next 2sts; repeat to end -24sts
Rnd 5: slp st in first 5sts; 1sc in last 19sts
* The remainder of the Hair will be worked in Rows to the end.
Row 1 & 2: ch 1, turn; 1sc in each st across - 19sts
Row 3: sc2tog, 1sc in next 15sts, sc2tog - 17sts
Row 4: sc2tog, 1sc in next 11sts, sc2tog - 15sts
Fasten off; leave a long tail for sewing.
Legs (make 2):
Rnd 1: with Black, ch 2; 4sc in second ch from hook - 4sts
Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around - 8sts
Rnd 3: 2sc in first st, 1sc in next st; repeat to end - 12sts
Rnd 4 & 5: 1sc in each st around - 12sts
Rnd 6: sc2tog; repeat to end - 6sts
Fasten off Black; change to Blue.
Rnd 7: working in the ftlps only, 1sc in each ftlp around - 6sts
Rnds 8-10: going through both loops, 1sc in each st around - 6sts
Firmly stuff the Foot portion; Rnds 1-6.
Rnds 11-20: 1sc in each st around - 6sts
Fasten off; leave a long tail for sewing.
Leave the Leg portion unstuffed; Rnds 7-20.
Arms (make 2):
Rnd 1: with Cornmeal, ch 2; 4sc in second ch from hook - 4sts
Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around - 8sts
Rnd 3 & 4: 1sc in each st around - 8sts
Rnd 5: sc2tog; repeat to end - 4sts
Fasten off Cornmeal; change to Red.
Rnd 6: working in the ftlps only, 1sc in each ftlp around - 4sts
Rnd 7 & 8: going through both loops, 1sc in each st around - 4sts
Firmly stuff the Hand portion; Rnds 1-5.
Rnds 9-15: 1sc in each st around - 4sts
Fasten off; leave a long tail for sewing.
Leave the Arm portion unstuffed; Rnds 6-15.
Assembly & Finishing:
Place the Hair on the top of the Head; sew in place.
Position the Legs on the bottom of the Body; sew in place.
Position the Legs on the sides of the Body; sew in place.
Using the Black yarn, stitch Eyes and a Mouth onto the Face.
Tie off and trim all loose threads.
