Dress-Me Doll's Nightgown


     Every doll needs a pretty nightgown to sleep in. This one is just perfect for the Dress-Me Doll I made last year to wear at bedtime.




Supplies:
     5.50 mm crochet hook
     Perfect Pink Red Heart Super Saver Yarn
     scissors

Abbreviations Used:
     ch(s) --- chain(s)
     sc --- single-crochet
     st/sts --- stitch/stitches
     sc2tog --- single-crochet 2 stitches together
     sk --- skip
     slp st(s) --- slip stitch(es)

Notes:
     --- I used a pink to make my Nightgown; but you can use any color you want.

~Pattern~

     With the Perfect Pink yarn, ch 30; ch 1, turn.
     Row 1: 1sc in each ch across - 30sts
     Rows 2-13: ch 1, turn; 1sc in each st across - 30sts
     Row 14: ch 1, turn; sc2tog, 1sc in next 26sts, sc2tog - 28sts
     Row 15: ch 1, turn; sc2tog, 1sc in next 24sts, sc2tog - 26sts
     Row 16: ch 1, turn; 1sc in first 3sts; ch 10, sk next 5sts; 1sc in next 10sts; ch 10, sk next 5sts; 1sc in last 3sts
     The straps and armholes of the nightgown have been created.
     Row 17: ch 1, turn; slp st in first 3sts, 1sc in next 10 chs, 1sc in next 10sts, 1sc in next 10chs, 1sc in last 3sts - 30sts, 6slp sts

Finishing:
     Holding the the two sides of the Nightgown together, sew from the bottom up to Row 10 to affix them together.
     Cut two lengths of yarn; attach one piece to each top side of the Nightgown to create a closure.
     Tie off and trim all loose threads.
