Little Shamrock
With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, here is a Little Shamrock that you can use to decorate almost anything.
Supplies:
3.75 mm crochet hook
green worsted weight yarn
stitch marker
scissors
Abbreviations Used:
ch --- chain
sc --- single-crochet
st/sts --- stitch/stitches
slp st --- slip stitch
trc --- triple-crochet
Notes:
--- Be sure to move the stitch marker up as you complete each round.
~Pattern~
Round 1:
ch 2
8sc in second ch from hook - 8sts
Round 2:
2sc in each st around - 16sts
Round 3:
slp st in first st
3trc in next st
slp st in next st
3trc in next st
slp st in next 2sts
3trc in next st
slp st in next st
3trc in next st
slp st in next 2sts
3trc in next st
slp st in next st
3trc in next st
slp st in last 2sts
DO NOT fasten off.
Stem:
ch 10; be careful not to pull too tightly
ch 1, turn
1sc in each ch across - 10sts
slp st in the last st of the Shamrock
Fasten off; tie off and trim all loose threads
